M2563.0L Petrol
The M256 is Mercedes-Benz's first inline-6 petrol since the M104, returning to the inline-6 format after two decades of V6s thanks to the modular FAME architecture. Produced from 2017 onwards, it pairs a single twin-scroll turbocharger with an electric auxiliary compressor (eZV) and a 48V belt-driven integrated starter-generator (ISG) for instant low-end response. Shares bore spacing and many components with the M254 4-cylinder.
